Last night, January 22, the Pittsburgh Penguins scored on their own net. They were about to go on the power play as Arizona had a delayed penalty call coming up. Tristan Jarry left the net to go to the bench for an extra attacker and then this happens. This is just the sign of how things are going for the Penguins this season.
Currently the Penguins are 7th in the division. However they are only 5 points out of a wild card spot. Depending on how the next month or so plays out, they could either be buyers or sellers at the deadline. If they are sellers, look for Jake Guentzel to be on the move at the very least. Maybe others. Crosby and Malkin most likely will not be traded, but I do expect other moves to happen.
Also who predicted Arizona would be 2 points out of a wild card?
